New energy vehicles include pure electric vehicles, extended range electric vehicles, hybrid electric vehicles, fuel cell electric vehicles, hydrogen engine vehicles, etc. At present, China has become the world's largest market for new energy vehicles. From January to October 2022, the production and sales of new energy vehicles reached 5.485 million and 5.28 million, respectively, with a year-on-year increase of 1.1 times and a market share of 24%.​​​​​​​

Pure Electric Vehicle​​​​​​​

Pure electric vehicles are the most important branch of new energy vehicles, and their sales will expand with the continuous expansion of new energy vehicle sales. From 2016 to 2020, the overall sales of pure electric vehicles in China showed an upward trend, exceeding 1.11 million units in 2020, with a penetration rate of 81.6% among new energy vehicles. From January to October 2022, China's production and sales of pure electric vehicles reached 4.268 million and 4.119 million, respectively,​​​​​​​
